24×36 print which was recently purchased. I’ve never sold a self portrait of any kind. I’m glad Danielle is in it with me. She’s beautiful and that purple feather grabs the eye.
The light from the windows is cast across the print. It more accurately looks like this:

Joshua Blankenship is on my short list of people whom I’ve never met (that I communicate regularly with) that I need to meet. Like now.

We ate dinner on the porch last night. Enjoyed hamburgers on the grill. We have a Weber grill, and after numerous nights of cooking out this summer, it is official that I am terrible with coal grills. Gas grills, no problem. Getting that stupid Weber going and sustaining it, problem. In the end it’s always worth it, but my neighbors watch and laugh. Now I’m always really self-conscious and checking over my back to see if they are laughing out loud or simply grinning. The grinning doesn’t hurt as much.

I moved from Zulu, Indiana to Seattle, Washington one year ago this month. Zulu’s area code is 260. Seattle’s is 206. There is no worse area code to have in Seattle than a Zulu area code.
It’s 260, not 206. No. 260. No you wrote it down incorrectly on the form. Right. Switch the 0 and the 6. Yes, I’m sure that’s very confusing.
So yesterday I made the relieving switch to a Seattle area code. Switching telephone numbers is a complete pain, and there’s no good way to get your phone number to the people who need it. It’s always fun to send out a text message to all your contacts giving your new mobile number and you get a reply back that says “Who is this?” Loving feeling all over.
So if you and I talk on the telephone, please replace my old number with this new number:
206 399 0645
Most of you won’t care about this, so please forgive the public service announcement.

I got a new mobile phone with a good camera on it and the ability to post to this blog. Huzzah. I’ve always wanted to take quick photos to use to blog and not have to use film or a DSLR. More mobility + ease of use = more daily posts. That’s reason to throw a mini party.

Me: I see you were listening to Christian radio.
Kenz: Yeah. Sometimes I need something like that.
Me: Sure.
Kenz: And sometimes it makes me want to punch someone in the face.
